We take the privacy and security of your information very seriously and are committed to protecting your personal information. We maintain the highest level of security in order to maintain the confidentiality of your personal health information. We do not share your personal or health-related information without your explicit consent and permission, except when permitted by law. Any information you share with us is securely stored and is only accessible to personnel authorized to do so, and is only accessed when it is a necessary part of their job (i.e. submitting billing information such as your name, contact information, and dates of service to the insurance company). Our staff has been trained on the importance of maintaining the security and confidentiality of your personal information.
The things you share with your therapist are also confidential and protected. Video sessions are secure and encrypted, adhering to all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guideless for secure video and electronic communication, and will be stored in a manner complying with HIPAA regulations and guidelines. All messages sent to your therapist are considered protected health information and will be kept secure and confidential according to all applicable laws and regulations for the confidentiality of protected health information. Unless there is a safety concern (you or someone else is in danger or there is some other emergency) or you explicitly give us permission to, what you share with your therapist is not shared with others.
At Change, the protection of your personal information is of utmost importance. We will never disclose, sell, release or sell your personal information without your explicit permission or request. We strive to continue with industry best practices and adhere to HIPAA guidelines in order to safeguard your information in order to unauthorized access or use.
